Great utility in WIndows 7:PSR

Have issues with any apps in Windows 7 and want someone to help out but don't have any clear idea how to describe the steps, then this utility is the one which will be need.

It can record the actual clicks, keypress and even takes screenshots .
This utility can be  initiated by
click Start, type PSR and press Enter, then click Start Record

It also packages everything up into a single zipped MHTML file when they're finished, ready for emailing .
It's quick, easy and effective, and will save hours of troubleshooting time.

Let the door open to Windows...  :)

Netbooks-smaller versions of Laptops

Smaller version of a laptop which in turn will give u the freedom to surf on the go!!

They have smaller screens - typically sized at 10 inches. They are roughly at least a kilogram lighter than your average 14-inch laptop. Thus, weighing 1.5 kilos or less, they are quite light and portable - carrying them anywhere is quite easy.

In order to bring these devices to such compact dimensions, the optical drive is removed. These devices would be unsuitable for people who use CDs and DVDs on a daily basis. But most of them have 3 USB ports on them.

But the high battery life comes with a compromise -- processing power. Netbooks are just about powerful to handle day-to-day tasks like surfing the net, office applications or basic multi-media. Tasks like rendering large videos, playing High Definition (HD) movies or heavy photo editing are not suitable for such machines.

Get to know what's in the Netbook before buying one:
1.Most Net books are supported by Intel's Atom processor which draws less power as compared to normal lapy.

2.Go in for a 6 cell battery to a 3 cell battery since 3 celled one's give a max of 2-3 hrs of battery backup  while a 6 celled ones offer atleast 4-5 hrs of backup.

3.Look out for Windows 7 OS preinstalled netbooks, since Windows 7 gives a lighter feeling as compared to Windows Vista in terms of boot up time and resource management.

4.Want to check out a few, then try out this.

Reducing Boot-time for Win-XP

I would usually get annoyed with the boot up time for Windows Xp since there were umpty number of items which would start up as soon as Windows would start.

For curtailing this found a easy and a simple way of removing those start up-items

1.From start button,click on Run
2.Enter 'msconfig' in the text box.
3.Opens up system configuration utility.
4.In the startup tab, check those you need to start while windows starts and remaining u can uncheck and click ok
5.Restart your PC.

That's really simple and easy method!!

For more specifications,
Canon SX110IS

With this features in hand and with a pricing of around 10-12k in Indian market would be a great deal.

Or could get this in US at still cheaper rate since many newer models in this series are already in display.

With this price tag i would definitely think of getting it home and make "Neighbours Envy"
